North Carolina High School Basketball - Jordan-Matthews overwhelmed by Albemarle
November 29, 2016: Siler City, NC 27344 The Albemarle Bulldogs basketball team scored 72 points and restricted the host Jordan-Matthews Jets to 48 in the Bulldogs non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Bulldogs now sport a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host North Moore for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 6. Albemarle will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 78-59 non-league loss to Eastern Randolph (Ramseur, NC). The Mustangs record now stands at 0-2.
The Jets (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Providence Grove (Franklinville, NC). The Patriots come into the non-league contest with a 2-0 record. In their last contest, Providence Grove triumphed over Southwestern Randolph (Asheboro, NC), 60-49, in a non-league contest.
