September 9, 2016: Bristol, TN 37620 In Friday's non-league game, the Tennessee Vikings (Bristol, TN) football team knocked off the visiting Virginia Bearcats (Bristol, VA), by a final score of 24-7.
The Vikings (2-2) will now prepare for their game against Daniel Boone (Gray, TN). The Trailblazers come into the 5A Region 1 game with a 2-1 record. In their last game, Daniel Boone was dropped by Elizabethton (Elizabethton, TN), 14-6, in a non-league game.
The Bearcats now hold a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they host Richlands for a Southwest game on Friday, September 23.
