The Vermillion Tanagers football squad scored 18 points and restricted the host Tri-Valley Mustangs to 6 in the Tanagers league victory on Friday.

The Tanagers now possess a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Madison for a Dakota 12 battle on Friday, September 14. Vermillion will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 21-0 non-league loss to Bridgewater/Emery/Ethan (Emery, SD). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-1.
