California High School Baseball - Norte Vista loses to Westminster
March 7, 2011: Westminster, CA 92683 In Monday's non-league game, the host Westminster Lions baseball team scored a nice 10-2 victory over the Norte Vista Braves.
The Lions (1-2) will now prepare for their game against Capistrano Valley Christian (San Juan Capistrano, CA). The Eagles go into the non-league game with a 2-1 record. In their last game, Capistrano Valley Christian ran past La Quinta (Westminster, CA), 8-6, in a non-league game.
The Braves (0-3) will now prepare for their game against Sage Hill (Newport Beach, CA). The Lightning go into the non-league outing with a 0-3 record. In their last outing, Sage Hill was overwhelmed by Segerstrom (Santa Ana, CA), 9-2, in a non-league outing.

Westminster Lions had a rocky start but a clutch 2 out Triple by Greg Mahle to score 2 then the wheels fell off for Norte Vista. Westminster rallied for 4 in the 5th and 4 in the 6th inning to break it open
