Helias Crusaders (Jefferson City, MO) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Branson Pirates (Branson, MO), 50-29 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Helias upgrades its record to 3-2 on the campaign. The Crusaders travel to St. Dominic (O'Fallon, MO) to play the Crusaders in a non-league bout on Friday, January 6. The Crusaders come into the bout with a record of 1-4. St. Dominic lost 46-41 in their recent non-league test against Holt (Wentzville, MO)

The Pirates now own a 3-5 record. They take the field next when they host Rogers for a non-league test on Monday, December 19. Branson will clash with a Mounties squad coming off a 48-43 non-league win over Webb City (Webb City, MO). The Mounties record now stands at 6-2.
