West Virginia High School Basketball - Riverside holds off Princeton
January 18, 2011: Belle, WV 25015 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Riverside Warriors (Belle, WV) and the visiting Princeton Tigers (Princeton, WV), saw Riverside's basketball squad hold off Princeton by a count of 55-54.
With the victory, Riverside upgrades its record to 2-7 on the campaign. The Warriors host Lincoln County (Hamlin, WV) to play the Panthers in a Mountain State challenge on Thursday, January 20. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 2-7. Lincoln County lost 86-44 in their recent league challenge against Parkersburg (Parkersburg, WV)
Next up, the Tigers play the Huntington Highlanders (Huntington, WV) in a Mountain State challenge, on Thursday, January 20. Princeton will attempt to upgrade on its 5-3 season record. The Highlanders come into the challenge with a 10-2 record after their 65-61 league win over St. Albans (St. Albans, WV).
