Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Gila Ridge Hawks (Yuma, AZ) and the host Metro Tech (Phoenix, AZ), saw Gila Ridge's basketball squad overcome Metro Tech by a tally of 59-49.

With the victory, Gila Ridge improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Hawks host Palo Verde (Las Vegas, NV) to confront the Panthers in a non-league challenge on Thursday, December 1. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 0-0.
