Connecticut High School Ice Hockey - Guilford knocks off Lyman Hall
January 29, 2011: Wallingford, CT 06492 The Guilford Indians ice hockey squad scored 8 points and restricted the host Lyman Hall Trojans to 2 in the Indians league victory on Saturday.
With the victory, Guilford moves its record to 8-0 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Fitch/East Lyme/Ledyard (Groton, CT) to face the Eagles in a non-league contest on Wednesday, February 2. The Eagles go into the contest with a record of 0-9. Fitch/East Lyme/Ledyard lost 5-2 in their recent non-league contest against Rocky Hill/RHAM (Rocky Hill, CT)
The Trojans now sport a 4-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Cheshire for a Southern Connecticut - DII contest on Thursday, February 3. Lyman Hall will face a Rams squad coming off a 4-0 league win over Branford (Branford, CT). The Rams record now stands at 5-2.
