October 13, 2006: Middletown, OH 45042 The Middletown Middies football squad scored 61 points and limited the visiting Fairfield Indians to 27 in the Middies league victory on Friday.
With the victory, Middletown advances its record to 4-4 on the year. The Middies travel to Lakota East (Liberty Township, OH) to play the Thunderhawks in a Greater Miami battle on Friday, October 20. The Thunderhawks come into the battle with a record of 4-4. Lakota East lost 31-13 in their recent league battle against Oak Hills (Cincinnati, OH)
The Indians (1-6) will now prepare for their match against Lakota West (West Chester, OH). The Firebirds come into the Greater Miami match with a 6-2 record. In their last match, Lakota West routed Milford (Milford, OH), 56-14, in a league match.
