Otay Ranch Mustangs (Chula Vista, CA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Hilltop Lancers (Chula Vista, CA), 65-8 in a league bout.

With the win, Otay Ranch upgrades its record to 13-6 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Montgomery (San Diego, CA) to play the Aztecs in a bout on Wednesday, January 31. The Aztecs go into the bout with a record of 2-4.

Next up, the Lancers play the Crawford Colts (San Diego, CA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 27. Hilltop will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record.
