Georgia High School Basketball - Buford overwhelms Westminster
January 21, 2011: Atlanta, GA 30327 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Buford Wolves (Buford, GA) and the host Westminster Wildcats (Atlanta, GA), saw Buford's basketball squad trounce Westminster by a score of 51-15.
With the victory, Buford improves its record to 13-1 on the campaign. The Wolves travel to Lovett (Atlanta, GA) to battle the Lions in a 6-AA challenge on Saturday, January 22. The Lions come into the challenge with a record of 9-7. Lovett won 75-8 in their recent league challenge against Cross Keys (Atlanta, GA)
Next up, the Wildcats battle the Decatur Bulldogs (Decatur, GA) in a 6-AA challenge, on Saturday, January 22. Westminster will attempt to improve on its 1-5 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 9-3 record after their 61-38 league win over Clarkston (Clarkston, GA).
