Decatur Eagles (Decatur, TX) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Lake Country Christian Eagles (Fort Worth, TX), 50-31 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Decatur upgrades its record to 13-4 on the campaign. The Eagles host Melissa (Melissa, TX) to play the Cardinals in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 15. The Cardinals come into the bout with a record of 5-9. Melissa lost 60-49 in their recent non-league bout against Era (Era, TX)

Next up, the Eagles play the Mineral Wells Rams (Mineral Wells, TX) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 14. Lake Country Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 13-9 season record. The Rams come into the bout with a 10-9 record after their 47-29 non-league loss to Graham (Graham, TX).
