The Chaparral Pumas basketball team scored 73 points and held the visiting Temescal Canyon Titans to 37 in the Pumas league triumph on Friday.

The Pumas now sport a 20-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Temecula Valley for a Southwestern contest on Tuesday, February 10. Chaparral will confront a Golden Bears team coming off a 70-56 league win over Vista Murrieta (Murrieta, CA). The Golden Bears record now stands at 15-9.

The Titans (4-20) will now prepare for their contest against Murrieta Valley (Murrieta, CA). The Nighthawks enter the Southwestern contest with a 22-1 record. In their last contest, Murrieta Valley trounced Great Oak (Temecula, CA), 80-36, in a league contest.
