In Saturday's league outing, the McComb Tigers (McComb, MS) basketball squad edged the visiting Lanier Bulldogs (Jackson, MS), by a count of 40-39.

The Tigers (18-4) will now prepare for their outing against Richland (Richland, MS). The Rangers go into the 4A Region 6 outing with a 5-9 record.
