Maclay Marauders (Tallahassee, FL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting John Paul II Catholic Panthers (Tallahassee, FL), 16-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Marauders now own a 5-4 record. They play next when they travel to Hamilton County for a 2A District 4 match on Friday, March 11. Maclay will face a Trojans squad coming off a 13-1 league loss to Lafayette (Mayo, FL). The Trojans record now stands at 3-2.

With the loss, John Paul II Catholic moves to 3-6 on the season. The Panthers travel to St. Francis Catholic (Gainesville, FL) to face the Wolves in a non-league match on Saturday, April 2. The Wolves go into the match with a record of 0-13.
