Colorado High School Football - Conifer thwarted by Evergreen
October 7, 2006: Evergreen, CO 80439 The Evergreen Cougars toppled the visiting Conifer Lobos football squad by a final score of 20-7 in Saturday's league outing.
The Cougars now sport a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Centaurus for a 3A North Metro outing on Friday, October 13. Evergreen will confront a Warriors squad coming off a 34-21 league win over Skyview (Thornton, CO). The Warriors record now stands at 3-3.
With the defeat, Conifer moves to 3-3 on the campaign. The Lobos host Englewood (Englewood, CO) to confront the Pirates in a 3A North Metro outing on Saturday, October 14. The Pirates go into the outing with a record of 5-1. Englewood won 29-6 in their recent league outing against Elizabeth (Elizabeth, CO)
