In Saturday's non-league outing, the West Lowndes Panthers (Columbus, MS) basketball squad nipped the host Aberdeen Bulldogs (Aberdeen, MS), by a margin of 55-53.

The Panthers (18-7) will now prepare for their outing against Noxapater (Noxapater, MS). The Tigers go into the 1A Region 6 outing with a 2-15 record. In their last outing, Noxapater was tipped by Nanih Waiya (Louisville, MS), 52-40, in a league outing.
