Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Mifflinburg tops Bellefonte
December 29, 2015: Mifflinburg, PA 17844 Mifflinburg Wildcats (Mifflinburg, PA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Bellefonte Red Raiders (Bellefonte, PA), 51-38 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Mifflinburg upgrades its record to 6-3 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Danville (Danville, PA) to play the Ironmen in a Heartland I bout on Saturday, January 2. The Ironmen come into the bout with a record of 7-0. Danville won 48-42 in their recent non-league bout against Montoursville (Montoursville, PA)
Next up, the Red Raiders play the Tyrone Golden Eagles (Tyrone, PA) in a Mountain bout, on Monday, January 4. Bellefonte will attempt to upgrade on its 1-7 season record. The Golden Eagles come into the bout with a 7-0 record after their 40-32 non-league win over Blairsville (Blairsville, PA).
