The crowd at Saturday's non-league contest between the East Dragons (Akron, OH) and the host Marlington Dukes (Alliance, OH), observed East's football squad defeat Marlington by a count of 50-37.

The Dragons now own a 8-3 record. They play next when they travel to New Philadelphia for a non-league contest on Saturday, November 12. East will encounter a Quakers squad coming off a 17-14 non-league win over Buckeye (Medina, OH). The Quakers record now stands at 9-2.
