Maryland High School Football - Lackey sneaks past Patuxent
September 12, 2008: Lusby, MD 20657 The Lackey Chargers (Indian Head, MD) football edged the host Patuxent Panthers (Lusby, MD), 14-7 in Friday's non-league bout.
In their next game, the Chargers face the Stone Cougars (Waldorf, MD) in a non-league bout, on Friday, September 19. Lackey will attempt to move on its 1-1 season record. The Cougars enter the bout with a 1-1 record after their 35-8 non-league loss to Linganore (Frederick, MD).
The Panthers (1-1) will now prepare for their bout against Northern (Owings, MD). The Patriots enter the Southern Maryland bout with a 1-1 record. In their last bout, Northern was nudged by North Point (Waldorf, MD), 10-0, in a league bout.
