Match Summary

OLENTANGY - For the first match of the year, the Northview LadyKats traveled south to play at Olentangy High School, home of the Braves. In the first match-up between these schools, it was highly contended on both side of the net, forcing this match to go for the duration of a complete 5 sets, where the Braves were able to prevail, 20-25, 25-15, 25-22, 21-25, 15-7. Leading Northview was junior middle blocker, McKenna Hall, with 16 kills; sophomore outside hitter, Tatum Lazar with 10 kills, and a team high 5 aces; and junior opposite hitter, Molly O'Brien who contributed 9 kills. Defensively, sophomore outside hitter Hannah Frame contributed 15 digs, a team high, followed by senior libero Paige Beck with 14 digs. Senior setter, Aly O'Lenic dished out 40 assists in the loss for the LadyKats.
