The Shaw Hawks basketball team scored 78 points and restricted the host Pelahatchie Chiefs to 40 in the Hawks non-league victory on Wednesday.

The Hawks now sport a 22-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ashland for a non-league bout on Tuesday, March 10. Shaw will play a Blue Devils squad coming off a 76-41 non-league win over Durant (Durant, MS). The Blue Devils record now stands at 22-8.
