The Mercer Island Islanders walloped the visiting Sammamish Totems football team by a final score of 45-6 in Friday's league outing.

With the win, Mercer Island improves its record to 6-2 on the season. The Islanders travel to Lake Washington (Kirkland, WA) to confront the Kangaroos in a 2A/3A KingCo outing on Friday, October 28. The Kangaroos go into the outing with a record of 2-6. Lake Washington lost 48-0 in their recent league outing against Juanita (Kirkland, WA)

With the loss, Sammamish moves to 2-6 on the season. The Totems host Mount Si (Snoqualmie, WA) to confront the Wildcats in a 2A/3A KingCo outing on Friday, October 28. The Wildcats go into the outing with a record of 5-3. Mount Si lost 35-3 in their recent league outing against Bellevue (Bellevue, WA)
