The Sylvan Hills Bears basketball team scored 69 points and restricted the host Forrest City Mustangs to 57 in the Bears non-league victory on Friday.

The Bears now sport a 7-3 record. They play next when they travel to Lexington Catholic for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 7. Sylvan Hills will meet a Knights team coming off a 63-60 league loss to Lafayette (Lexington, KY). The Knights record now stands at 12-3.

The Mustangs (3-6) will now prepare for their contest against Greene County Tech (Paragould, AR). The Golden Eagles come into the 5A East contest with a 2-8 record. In their last contest, Greene County Tech was defeated by Cabot (Cabot, AR), 52-32, in a non-league contest.
