In Thursday's non-league match, the visiting East Ascension Spartans basketball team scored a good 60-52 triumph over the Belaire Bengals.

In their next game, the Spartans meet the East Feliciana Tigers (Jackson, LA) in a non-league match, on Friday, December 4. East Ascension will attempt to better on its 7-1 season record. The Tigers enter the match with a 1-1 record after their 58-52 non-league loss to St. Amant (St. Amant, LA).

With the defeat, Belaire moves to 3-1 on the year. The Bengals travel to Catholic-B.R. (Baton Rouge, LA) to meet the Bears in a non-league match on Friday, December 4.
