Texas High School Basketball - De Soto tipped by Kingwood
November 21, 2008: Kingwood, TX 77339 The Kingwood Mustangs basketball team scored 44 points and held the visiting De Soto Eagles to 42 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Friday.
The Mustangs now sport a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North Crowley for a non-league contest on Saturday, November 22. Kingwood will confront a Panthers team coming off a 66-64 non-league loss to Madison (San Antonio, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 5-1.
The Eagles (3-2) will now prepare for their contest against Atascocita (Humble, TX). The Eagles enter the non-league contest with a 2-1 record. In their last contest, Atascocita nudged Taft (San Antonio, TX), 32-30, in a non-league contest.
