Elizabeth Cardinals (Elizabeth, CO) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their baseball squad knock off the visiting Fort Lupton Blue Devils (Fort Lupton, CO), 15-2 in a league battle.

Coming up next, the Cardinals play the Alameda Pirates (Lakewood, CO) in a non-league battle, on Wednesday, March 18. Elizabeth will attempt to move on its 2-0 season record. The Pirates enter the battle with a 2-0 record after their 7-5 non-league win over Vista PEAK Prep (Aurora, CO).

The Blue Devils now possess a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they host Platte Valley for a non-league battle on Monday, March 16. Fort Lupton will play a Broncos squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Berthoud (Berthoud, CO). The Broncos record now stands at 2-2.
