The Martin Warriors baseball team scored 4 points and limited the host Amarillo Sandies to 1 in the Warriors non-league victory on Friday.

The Warriors (5-3) will now prepare for their match against Plano East (Plano, TX). The Panthers go into the non-league match with a 2-4 record. In their last challenge, Plano East got by Amarillo (Amarillo, TX), 10-3, in a non-league challenge.

With the defeat, Amarillo falls to 1-5 on the season. The Sandies travel to Lee (Tyler, TX) to encounter the Raiders in a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 7. The Raiders come into the challenge with a record of 6-2. Lee lost 5-3 in their recent league challenge against Horn (Mesquite, TX)
