Florida High School Basketball - Westminster Academy nips University
December 3, 2016: Fort Lauderdale, FL 33308 Westminster Academy Lions (Fort Lauderdale, FL) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting University Sharks (Fort Lauderdale, FL), 60-57 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Westminster Academy upgrades its record to 6-0 on the season. The Lions host Somerset Academy - Canyons (Boynton Beach, FL) to play the Cougars in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 7. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 1-1. Somerset Academy - Canyons won 60-55 in their recent non-league bout against Benjamin (Palm Beach Gardens, FL)
Next up, the Sharks play the Miami Christian Victors (Miami, FL) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 6. University will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record. The Victors go into the bout with a 3-0 record after their 86-64 non-league win over Miami Country Day (Miami, FL).
