Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Richlands Blue Tornado (Richlands, VA) and the visiting Twin Valley Panthers (Pilgrims Knob, VA), saw Richlands's basketball squad wallop Twin Valley by a tally of 83-49.

With the victory, Richlands improves its record to 12-1 on the campaign. The Blue Tornado host Graham (Bluefield, VA) to play the G-Men in a 2A Conference 39 challenge on Friday, January 20. The G-Men come into the challenge with a record of 11-3. Graham won 70-31 in their recent league challenge against Galax (Galax, VA)

Next up, the Panthers play the Arlington Memorial Eagles (Arlington, VT) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 21. Twin Valley will attempt to improve on its 7-4 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 9-1 record after their 47-32 non-league win over Long Trail (Dorset, VT).
