Alabama High School Basketball - Handley knocked off by Heard County
December 10, 2016: Roanoke, AL 36274 The Heard County Braves basketball team scored 53 points and held the host Handley Tigers to 36 in the Braves non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Braves now sport a 8-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Troup County for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 13. Heard County will meet a Tigers team coming off a 52-36 non-league win over Valley (Valley, AL). The Tigers record now stands at 3-2.
The Tigers (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Anniston (Anniston, AL). The Bulldogs enter the 4A Area 8 contest with a 6-3 record.
