The Connersville Spartans (Connersville, IN) basketball nipped the visiting Richmond Red Devils (Richmond, IN), 52-47 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Spartans (6-1) will now prepare for their test against Greenfield-Central (Greenfield, IN). The Cougars go into the non-league test with a 5-1 record. In their last test, Greenfield-Central got by Yorktown (Yorktown, IN), 62-30, in a league test.
