Spectators at Friday's league match between the Ashbrook Green Wave (Gastonia, NC) and the host Huss Huskies (Gastonia, NC), witnessed Ashbrook's softball squad prevail over Huss by a count of 15-3.

The Green Wave now sport a 3-10 record. They play next when they host Cramer for a 2A/3A Big South match on Tuesday, April 8.

With the loss, Huss moves to 2-7 on the season. The Huskies travel to West Mecklenburg (Charlotte, NC) to face the Hawks in a non-league match on Monday, April 7. The Hawks go into the match with a record of 3-10.
