The Archbishop Curley Friars (Baltimore, MD) football edged the visiting Severn School Admirals (Severna Park, MD), 24-21 in Friday's league bout.

In their next game, the Friars face the St. Paul's Crusaders (Brooklandville, MD) in a MIAA B bout, on Friday, September 28. Archbishop Curley will attempt to advance on its 1-3 season record. The Crusaders enter the bout with a 2-1 record after their 27-26 league win over Pallotti (Laurel, MD).

The Admirals (1-2) will now prepare for their bout against Concordia Prep (Towson, MD). The Saints enter the non-league bout with a 4-1 record. In their last bout, Concordia Prep was nudged by Calvert Hall (Baltimore, MD), 43-6, in a non-league bout.
