The Estacado Matadors basketball team scored 71 points and held the host Palo Duro Dons to 69 in the Matadors non-league triumph on Friday.

The Matadors now sport a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rockwall-Heath for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 6. Estacado will battle a Hawks team coming off a 88-43 non-league win over Rider (Wichita Falls, TX). The Hawks record now stands at 5-0.

The Dons (5-1) will now prepare for their contest against Sandia (Albuquerque, NM). The Matadors enter the non-league contest with a 2-3 record.
