View Park Knights (Los Angeles, CA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Crenshaw Cougars (Los Angeles, CA), 64-60 in a league bout.

With the win, View Park upgrades its record to 14-5 on the season. The Knights travel to Manual Arts (Los Angeles, CA) to confront the Toilers in a Coliseum challenge on Monday, February 3. The Toilers come into the challenge with a record of 3-6.

Next up, the Cougars confront the West Adams Panthers (Los Angeles, CA) in a Coliseum challenge, on Monday, February 3. Crenshaw will attempt to improve on its 8-14 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 2-7 record after their 86-32 league loss to Dorsey (Los Angeles, CA).
