The Wilmington Wildcats ran past the visiting Coal City Coalers basketball team by a final score of 36-27 in Friday's league game.

In their next game, the Wildcats face the Marquette Crusaders (Ottawa, IL) in a non-league game, on Monday, March 30. Wilmington will attempt to move on its 14-13 season record. The Crusaders enter the game with a 5-13 record after their 43-30 league loss to Putnam County (Granville, IL).
