The Neshoba Central Rockets football team (Philadelphia, MS), was beaten 29-10 in Friday's non-league challenge with the visiting Kemper County Wildcats (DeKalb, MS)

The Wildcats (4-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Noxubee County (Macon, MS). The Tigers come into the non-league challenge with a 2-3 record. In their last challenge, Noxubee County was beaten by West Point (West Point, MS), 47-6, in a non-league challenge.

The Rockets now sport a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they host Holmes County Central for a 5A Region 2 challenge on Friday, September 23. Neshoba Central will meet a Jaguars team coming off a 19-18 non-league loss to Kosciusko (Kosciusko, MS). The Jaguars record now stands at 2-2.
