North Carolina High School Football - Mount Pleasant held off by Hickory Ridge
August 26, 2016: Mt. Pleasant, NC 28124 Hickory Ridge Ragin' Bulls (Harrisburg, NC) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team nip the host Mount Pleasant Tigers (Mt. Pleasant, NC), 30-27 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Hickory Ridge improves its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Ragin' Bulls travel to Robinson (Concord, NC) to play the Bulldogs in a 3A Southern Piedmont battle on Friday, September 2. The Bulldogs go into the battle with a record of 2-0. Robinson won 34-14 in their recent league battle against Central Cabarrus (Concord, NC)
Coming up next, the Tigers play the Cox Mill Chargers (Concord, NC) in a non-league battle, on Friday, September 2. Mount Pleasant will attempt to advance on its 0-2 season record.
