Banks County Leopards (Homer, GA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Fannin County Rebels (Blue Ridge, GA), 58-36 in a league bout.

With the win, Banks County upgrades its record to 11-8 on the season. The Leopards host East Hall (Gainesville, GA) to play the Vikings in a AAA Region 7 bout on Tuesday, January 19. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 15-4. East Hall won 60-42 in their recent league bout against Dawson County (Dawsonville, GA)

Next up, the Rebels play the Lumpkin County Indians (Dahlonega, GA) in a AAA Region 7 bout, on Tuesday, January 19. Fannin County will attempt to upgrade on its 4-14 season record. The Indians go into the bout with a 6-14 record after their 65-42 non-league win over Tallulah Falls (Tallulah Falls, GA).
