April 4, 2012: Corona, CA 92880 The Temescal Canyon Titans baseball team scored 6 runs and limited the host Roosevelt Mustangs to 1 in the Titans non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Titans (8-5) will now prepare for their match against La Sierra (Riverside, CA). The Eagles go into the non-league match with a 7-5 record. In their last match, La Sierra was overwhelmed by Santiago (Corona, CA), 3-0, in a non-league match.
The Mustangs (4-8) will now prepare for their match against Santiago (Corona, CA). The Sharks go into the non-league match with a 8-6 record. In their last match, Santiago tipped Trabuco Hills (Mission Viejo, CA), 8-6, in a non-league match.

Gardea battles and the Titans make the most of nine hits in 6-1 victory over Roosevelt
The Titans and Roosevelt both had multiple scoring threats, but it was the Titans that eventually took advantage of them in a 6-1 win at Norco. The combination of Alec Gardea and Kurt Clements stranded 13 runners. Alec battled through five innings leaving with a 2-1. lead. Ty Connor racked up two RBIs by doubling in the second. The Titans built upon their lead with four runs in the fifth. Josh Cohen hit a bases loaded single scoring both Zach Diaz and Ty Connor.
Dillon Smith, Mithchell Bumann, Dawson Lindeman, Alec Gardea, Josh Cohen, Grant Gooselaw, Ty Connor, and Zach Diaz each got hits for the Titans. Lindeman led the team with two hits.
Kurt Clements was superb in relief, pitching two scoreless innings while collecting two strikeouts and allowing no walks and three hits. He picked up the save.
