The Iredell Dragons basketball team scored 70 points and held the host Morgan Eagles to 48 in the Dragons league triumph on Thursday.

The Dragons now sport a 13-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hamilton for a non-league contest on Friday, December 28. Iredell will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 68-31 league loss to Cisco (Cisco, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 11-8.

The Eagles (7-8) will now prepare for their contest against Walnut Springs (Walnut Springs, TX). The Hornets enter the 1A Region IV District 25 contest with a 14-4 record. In their last contest, Walnut Springs was routed by Aquilla (Aquilla, TX), 53-22, in a league contest.
