Georgia High School Basketball - Rockmart knocked off by Dade County
January 26, 2018: Rockmart, GA 30153 The Dade County Wolverines basketball team scored 73 points and held the host Rockmart Yellowjackets to 58 in the Wolverines league triumph on Friday.
The Wolverines now sport a 8-14 record. They put it on the line next when they host Gordon Central for a AA Region 7 contest on Saturday, January 27. Dade County will meet a Warriors team coming off a 74-51 league loss to Coosa (Rome, GA). The Warriors record now stands at 1-17.
The Yellowjackets (12-8) will now prepare for their contest against Christian Heritage (Dalton, GA). The Lions enter the non-league contest with a 18-2 record. In their last contest, Christian Heritage ran past Mt. Zion (Mt. Zion, GA), 75-69, in a league contest.
