Maryland High School Basketball - River Hill falls to Glenelg
January 12, 2011: Clarksville, MD 21029 The Glenelg Gladiators basketball team scored 42 points and held the host River Hill Hawks to 34 in the Gladiators league triumph on Wednesday.
The Gladiators now sport a 10-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wilde Lake for a Howard County match on Friday, January 14. Glenelg will confront a Wildecats team coming off a 67-18 league loss to Oakland Mills (Columbia, MD). The Wildecats record now stands at 1-10.
With the defeat, River Hill moves to 4-4 on the year. The Hawks host Oakland Mills (Columbia, MD) to confront the Scorpions in a Howard County match on Friday, January 14. The Scorpions enter the match with a record of 10-3. Oakland Mills won 67-18 in their recent league match against Wilde Lake (Columbia, MD)
