January 9, 2018: Massillon, OH 44646 In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Washington Tigers (Massillon, OH) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Aquinas Knights (Louisville, OH), by a margin of 80-42.
The Tigers (4-5) will now prepare for their outing against Lynchburg-Clay (Lynchburg, OH). The Mustangs go into the Southern Hills outing with a 6-4 record. In their last outing, Lynchburg-Clay was trounced by Western Brown (Mt. Orab, OH), 55-47, in a non-league outing.
The Knights now own a 0-5 record. They play next when they host Villa Angela-St. Joseph for a North Coast outing on Saturday, January 13. Aquinas will encounter a Vikings squad coming off a 92-66 league win over Trinity (Garfield Heights, OH). The Vikings record now stands at 4-3.
