In Friday's league bout, the host Mason Comets football squad scored a close 14-7 victory over the Princeton Vikings.

In their next game, the Comets face the Oak Hills Highlanders (Cincinnati, OH) in a Greater Miami bout, on Friday, October 14. Mason will attempt to advance on its 5-2 season record. The Highlanders enter the bout with a 3-4 record after their 46-41 league loss to Sycamore (Cincinnati, OH).
