Illinois High School Volleyball - Mt. Pulaski Central
September 30, 2011: Breese, IL 62230 The Central Cougars topped the visiting Mt. Pulaski Hilltoppers volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Friday's non-league test.
The Cougars now have a 11-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Freeburg for a Cahokia - Mississippi test on Tuesday, October 4. Central will confront a Midgets team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Incarnate Word Academy (St. Louis, MO). The Midgets record now stands at 15-7.
The Hilltoppers (9-6) will now prepare for their test against Pleasant Plains (Pleasant Plains, IL). The Cardinals enter the Sangamo test with a 8-5 record. In their last test, Pleasant Plains was knocked off by Lutheran (Springfield, IL), 2-1, in a non-league test.
