The Shelbyville Dragons (Shelbyville, TX) football routed the visiting Cushing Bearkats (Cushing, TX), 53-8 in Friday's league bout.

In their next game, the Dragons face the Beckville Bearcats (Beckville, TX) in a 2A-1 Region III District 10 bout, on Friday, October 23. Shelbyville will attempt to advance on its 6-0 season record.
