Kentucky High School Basketball - Jackson City ripped by Wolfe County
January 31, 2011: Jackson, KY 41339 The Wolfe County Wolves basketball team scored 64 points and held the host Jackson City Tigers to 30 in the Wolves league triumph on Monday.
The Wolves now sport a 7-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Southwestern for a non-league contest on Friday, February 4. Wolfe County will meet a Warriors team coming off a 56-51 non-league loss to Somerset (Somerset, KY). The Warriors record now stands at 10-10.
The Tigers (3-13) will now prepare for their contest against Riverside Christian (Lost Creek, KY). The Rams enter the District 55 contest with a 1-15 record. In their last contest, Riverside Christian was routed by Shelby Valley (Pikeville, KY), 91-21, in a non-league contest.
