Ohio High School Football - Marion Local can't get by Shawnee
August 26, 2011: Lima, OH 45806 Shawnee Indians (Lima, OH) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team nip the visiting Marion Local Flyers (Maria Stein, OH), 13-7 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Shawnee improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Kenton (Kenton, OH) to confront the Wildcats in a Western Buckeye test on Friday, September 16. The Wildcats come into the game with a record of 1-0.
The Flyers now sport a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they host Our Lady of Mt. Carmel (Mississauga, Ontario) for a non-league game on Friday, September 2.
